An electrician in Seville, Spain, who explains the Spanish system
If you are looking for an electrician in Seville, it is usually for one of two reasons: something has stopped working and you need it fixed now, or you are about to change something (a renovation, a new-build flat (apartment), an electric car) and want it done right first time. We handle both. Pulso Eléctrico is a registered electrical contractor working in Seville city and the towns of its metropolitan area, from changing a socket (outlet) to wiring EV charging for a whole communal garage.
If you have moved here from the UK, Ireland, the US or northern Europe, the Spanish system can be confusing: the boletín, the potencia contratada on your bill, the comunidad that runs your building. We explain each one as we go, in plain words. Our guide prices are published, and you always get a fixed written quote before any work starts.
24-hour emergency electrician in Seville
An RCD (GFCI) that will not stay up, half the flat without power, a socket that smells of burning or flickering lights cannot wait until Monday. Our emergency electrician service works like this: we give you safety instructions on the phone, find the fault with proper measurements and tell you the price of the repair before doing it. If your problem is the classic tripping switch, read RCD keeps tripping first. We also attend communal areas and businesses, where a fault can mean closing for the day.
EV charger installation at home or in a communal garage
Installing a charger at home is no longer complicated, but it has its rules. In a house it runs from your own fuse board; in a communal garage, from your meter to your parking space, and you only need to notify the comunidad (article 17.5 of the Horizontal Property Law). We comply with ITC-BT-52, issue the boletín and give you the paperwork for the 15 % income tax (IRPF) deduction, available until 31 December 2026. Every case is covered in EV charger installation.
Rewiring, fuse boards and the boletín
Much of Seville’s housing was built between the 1960s and the 1980s, with wiring designed for far less power than a modern home uses. We rewire old apartments, carry out fuse board replacement, add earthing (grounding), increase your contracted power and issue the electrical certificate (boletín) that registers it all with the Junta de Andalucía. We also do LED lighting, smart home, solar self-consumption, building maintenance and work for shops and offices. All 16 specialities are in services.
Electrician for new-build homes
Thousands of new homes are being handed over in and around Seville, in areas such as Entrenúcleos, Palmas Altas, Isla Natura and Hacienda del Rosario. They come with ceiling points but no light fittings, with EV pre-installation in the garage but no charger, and usually with manual blinds. We help you get your home ready before you move in and check what the developer has delivered. See new-build homes.
Areas of Seville where we work
We work in all 11 districts of Seville city and across the metropolitan area: Dos Hermanas, Mairena del Aljarafe, Tomares, Bormujos and the rest of the Aljarafe, Alcalá de Guadaíra, Camas and beyond. Each page in areas explains the typical homes and faults of that place.
