Before coming we ask for photos of the ceiling and the fitting, to know whether it needs a special fixing.
Is it worth switching to LED?
Yes, especially if you still have halogen spotlights, fluorescent tubes or incandescent bulbs. LED uses much less energy and lasts longer. Converting a whole home to LED costs around 450 euros on average, and sometimes transformers or drivers must be replaced so the lights do not flicker. In communal buildings, the saving on stairs and garages is noticeable at once.
What lighting does a new-build home in Seville need?
New homes in Seville are handed over with ceiling points in every room but no light fittings, just the cable or a bare lampholder.
