Solar and efficiency

Commercial solar panels in Seville, Spain: warehouses, industrial roofs and solar pumping

We install commercial solar panels in Seville, Spain: self-consumption systems of 15 to 100 kW or more on warehouse roofs, solar carports in car parks and solar pumping on farms, with an engineering project, legalisation under Royal Decree 244/2019 and a study that matches your consumption curve against real production.

Commercial solar panels in Seville, Spain: why now

A business that works during the day has the perfect profile for self-consumption (autoconsumo): it uses energy exactly when the panels produce it. With around 3,000 hours of sunshine a year and a guide production of 1,600 to 1,750 kWh per installed kWp, commercial solar panels in Seville are one of the clearest energy investments a company can make. We install:

  • Self-consumption on warehouse roofs, from 15 to 100 kW or more.
  • Solar carports in car parks, which also provide shade.
  • Solar pumping for irrigation and wells on farms.
  • Integration with fleet charging and with the company’s energy management.

Regulations and paperwork

  • Royal Decree 244/2019 on self-consumption: schemes with and without surplus, and compensation.
  • ITC-BT-40 of the Spanish Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation (REBT), on generating installations.
  • ITC-BT-04: engineering project for installations over 10 kW.

We take care of the project, the installation, the certificate and the self-consumption registration with the Junta de Andalucía, the regional government. If you want to know which document applies to your case, we explain it in electrical design report and project.

Businesses in Seville where it fits

  • Warehouses on industrial estates such as Fridex in Alcalá de Guadaíra, La Isla in Dos Hermanas or PISA in Mairena del Aljarafe, with large roofs and daytime consumption from machinery and air conditioning. If you also have a fleet, we combine it with EV charging on industrial estates.
  • Farms in the countryside and the river plain, in Utrera, Carmona, La Rinconada or the towns of the Vega del Guadalquivir, with irrigation pumping and farm buildings. We do it together with agricultural installations.
  • Restaurants, shops and offices with their own roof and air conditioning running many hours a day.

More savings around the panels

Solar performs better if consumption is put in order first. An energy audit finds waste and sizes the installation properly; power factor correction with a capacitor bank removes the reactive energy penalty, which is a separate problem solved separately; and if the warehouse needs a bigger switchboard or new lines, we handle it under warehouse electrics.

How we work

  1. Feasibility study with your bills, your consumption curve and the roof: area, orientation, structure and shading.
  2. Technical and economic proposal with estimated production, self-consumption, surplus and payback.
  3. Engineering project and fixed quote.
  4. Installation coordinated with your activity, without stopping production.
  5. Legalisation and commissioning, with monitoring to follow production.
  6. Ongoing maintenance with solar panel maintenance.

Frequently asked questions

From what power does a solar installation need a project in Spain?

ITC-BT-04 of the Spanish Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation requires an engineering project for solar installations over 10 kW, which is normal for a warehouse or a company. Below that, a technical design report (MTD) is enough. We coordinate the project, the installation and the full legalisation.

How much does one kWp produce in Seville?

As an industry guide figure, a well-oriented kWp in Seville produces 1,600 to 1,750 kWh a year, thanks to the city's roughly 3,000 hours of sunshine. The real production of your roof depends on orientation, tilt and shading, and we calculate it in the study before giving you any savings figures.

Which businesses get the most out of solar?

Those that use electricity during the day, when the panels produce: workshops, warehouses with machinery, industrial refrigeration, restaurants with kitchens, shops with air conditioning and offices. The more your consumption curve matches the sunshine hours, the more energy you use directly and the sooner the installation pays for itself.

Can I charge my vans with the panels?

Yes. If the fleet spends part of the day at the warehouse, compatible chargers adjust the charge to what the panels produce. It is one of the most profitable combinations we see on the industrial estates around Seville: warehouse, fleet and solar, with a manager that shares out the energy.

Does it work for pumping water on a farm?

Yes. Solar pumping powers irrigation or well pumps from panels, with or without a grid connection, and fits very well because irrigation happens when the sun shines. We design it with the pump control panel, its protections and, if needed, a variable speed drive that matches the pump to the production.

What happens to the energy left over at weekends?

It is exported to the grid and compensated on the bill under the self-consumption with surplus scheme of Royal Decree 244/2019. If the surplus is large, we look at adjusting the panel power, adding storage or using it to charge vehicles.

Solar panels for self-consumption

We install solar panels in Seville, Spain and the surrounding province on a turnkey basis: we study your consumption and your roof, fit panels, inverter and protection devices, and handle the legalisation and the compensation for your surplus energy. With Seville's sunshine, each kW installed saves an average of about 189 euros a year.

Energy audit

We carry out a business energy audit in Seville, Spain: we measure consumption, find where the energy goes and propose LED, controls, solar self-consumption, reactive power compensation and power adjustment, each measure with its cost, saving and payback period. We also arrange energy performance certificates for homes.

Capacitors and reactive energy

We install power factor correction in Seville, Spain with a capacitor bank, so you stop paying the reactive energy surcharge that appears on the bills of many warehouses, workshops, hotels and shops. We measure with a power quality analyser, size the bank in kVAr and leave it adjusted so the penalty disappears.

Solar panel maintenance

We carry out solar panel maintenance in Seville, Spain: panel cleaning, thermal imaging to find damaged cells and connections, and checks of the inverter, protections and monitoring. You recover the production lost to dust and to faults nobody sees, even if another company installed your system.

Industrial estates and warehouses

We install EV charging for your industrial warehouse in Seville, Spain so you can charge the van fleet, company cars and your employees' cars: three-phase chargers of 11 to 22 kW, a load manager so you never exceed your contracted power and, if you have a roof, charging from your own solar panels.

Industrial warehouses

We carry out the warehouse electrical installation in Seville, Spain and on its industrial estates: supply connection, switchboards, cable trays and conduits, power sockets, lighting, earthing and power for cold rooms, with project and legalisation. When the warehouse needs a transformer substation, we coordinate it.
