Electrical paperwork handled in Seville, Spain: Junta, distributor and tax relief

We take care of your electrical paperwork in Seville, Spain so you do not have to fight with forms: online registration of the boletín and the technical design report with the Junta de Andalucía, commissioning, connections and changes with the distributor, legalisation of solar self-consumption and the documents for the income tax deduction on an EV charging point.

Why hand over your electrical paperwork

The electrical work itself is usually the easy part. What puts people off is what comes after: online registration with the Junta de Andalucía, the technical design report on its official form, the application to the distributor, the supply point code (CUPS), the meter, the supplier and, if there are deductions or grants, the documents they ask for. A badly filed form can delay a move, a business opening or the start-up of a solar installation by weeks. For a newcomer to Spain, add a system with two different electricity companies and a regional government in the middle.

Handling your electrical paperwork means we take care of all of that, from start to finish, and keep you informed of where each step stands.

Which procedures we handle

  • Registration of the installation certificate and the technical design report with the Junta de Andalucía, under the commissioning procedure (Decree 59/2005) and ITC-BT-04. See electrical certificate (boletín) and electrical design report and project.
  • New supply connections, energising and service connection requests with the distributor, which in Seville is e-distribución. Your supplier (comercializadora) only sends the bill; the distributor (distribuidora) owns the meter and the network.
  • Changes of power and voltage, with the boletín that goes with them. See increase your contracted power.
  • Legalisation of solar self-consumption under Royal Decree 244/2019: registration of the installation, mode with or without surplus export and notification to the distributor. See solar panels.
  • Documents for the income tax (IRPF) deduction on the charging point. See home EV charger installation.

Grants and deductions as of October 2026

It is worth being clear about what exists and what does not, because a lot of outdated information is circulating, in English as well as Spanish:

  • MOVES III: closed applications on 31 December 2025.
  • Auto+ Programme (Royal Decree 609/2026): subsidises the purchase of vehicles, not chargers.
  • 15 % income tax (IRPF) deduction for an EV charging point: in force until 31 December 2026 (Royal Decree-law 7/2026), with a maximum base of 4,000 euros and maximum savings of 600 euros. Requirements: your own home, payment not in cash and a registered installer.

If a new call for applications opens that affects your installation, we will tell you when you ask for a quote.

How we work

  1. We review your situation: which procedure you need, what documents you have and what is missing.
  2. Quote with our handling fee and, separately, the fees and the distributor’s charges.
  3. We prepare and file the technical documents and the applications.
  4. Follow-up of each application and notice of any request for more information.
  5. Handover of all the final documents, in order, so you can keep them with your property deeds.

Typical cases in Seville

A new home without power. In newly handed-over developments in Sevilla Este or Dos Hermanas, each owner has to contract their own supply. With the certificate for the home’s installation, we process the connection and tell you what to do with the supplier. Buyers of new builds will find more in our new build section.

Business premises opening. In ground-floor commercial premises, the installation certificate, the technical design report and, if the premises are open to the public, the initial inspection are part of the opening documents. We coordinate everything so the electricity does not hold up the opening. See business opening licence.

A charger with the deduction. A family in Mairena del Aljarafe installs a charger in the garage of their villa in 2026. As well as the certificate, we give them the invoice with the correct breakdown and the documents the deduction requires, and remind them that payment cannot be in cash.

Frequently asked questions

Which electrical procedures do you handle?

Online registration of the installation certificate and the technical design report with the Junta de Andalucía, commissioning, new supply connections and changes of power or account holder with the distributor, legalisation of solar self-consumption installations and the documents you need for the income tax (IRPF) deduction on an EV charging point.

How much does handling the paperwork cost?

As a market estimate, 50 to 150 euros plus 21 % VAT depending on the procedure. On top of that come the costs that do not depend on us: the Junta de Andalucía fees and the charges the distributor makes for the connection or the extension (derechos de alta). We list them separately in the quote.

How is a boletín registered in Andalusia?

The registered installer company files the installation certificate and the technical design report, or the project when one is required, online with the regional ministry responsible for industry at the Junta de Andalucía, under the commissioning procedure set by Decree 59/2005 and ITC-BT-04. Once registered, you can contract with the distributor.

Are there grants for installing an EV charging point in 2026?

The MOVES III programme closed applications on 31 December 2025, and the Auto+ Programme subsidises the purchase of vehicles, not chargers. What remains in force until 31 December 2026 is the 15 % income tax (IRPF) deduction for a charging point, with a maximum base of 4,000 euros and savings of up to 600 euros.

I am a foreign resident. What do I need for the IRPF deduction on my charger?

The deduction applies to Spanish income tax (IRPF), so check with your tax adviser that it applies to your situation. The requirements are that the charger is installed in your own home, by a registered installer, paid by a means other than cash, and that you keep the invoice and the installation certificate. It is in force until 31 December 2026 under Royal Decree-law 7/2026.

How long until the power is on after the boletín is registered?

It depends on the distributor and on whether work is needed on the service connection or the meter. When the installation is registered and no network extension is needed, activation is usually a matter of working days. We keep you informed of the status of the application at every step.

New electricity connection

We manage your new electricity connection in Seville, Spain from start to finish: the boletín (electrical installation certificate) for the connection, the application to the distributor, energising the supply and, if needed, a new service connection. Whether you are moving into a new home or bringing back a supply that was cut off, we handle the paperwork and the coordination with e-distribución.

Electrical certificate (boletín)

The electrical certificate in Spain, known by everyone as the boletín and officially the CIE (certificado de instalación eléctrica), is the document a registered installer company signs to confirm that your installation meets the regulations. You need it to connect the electricity, increase your power or change the account holder with an old installation. We inspect, certify and register it with the Junta de Andalucía in Seville.

Design report and project

We prepare your electrical project in Seville, Spain when the installation requires one, and the technical design report (memoria técnica de diseño, MTD) when that is enough: shops, warehouses, EV chargers, solar panels and homes. We tell you which document you need before you buy any equipment, and we file it with the Junta de Andalucía, the regional government.

EV charger grants and tax relief

EV charger grants in Seville, Spain come down to one in 2026: the 15 % income tax (IRPF) deduction, worth up to 600 euros, for installations completed before 31 December 2026. MOVES III closed in 2025 and the Auto+ programme does not cover chargers. Here is how to make the most of the deduction.

Solar panels for self-consumption

We install solar panels in Seville, Spain and the surrounding province on a turnkey basis: we study your consumption and your roof, fit panels, inverter and protection devices, and handle the legalisation and the compensation for your surplus energy. With Seville's sunshine, each kW installed saves an average of about 189 euros a year.

Increase contracted power

You need to increase your electricity power in Spain when the smart meter cuts everything off as soon as the air conditioning, the oven and the washing machine run together. We check what power your installation can take, upgrade the supply cable, main switch and fuse board if needed, and issue the boletín so the distributor approves the increase.
