Payment plans for electrical work in Seville, Spain: rewiring, solar panels and EV chargers
A payment plan for electrical work in Spain lets you spread the cost of larger jobs. In Seville we look with you at how to pay in instalments (installments in US English) for a full rewire, solar panels, an EV charging point or a new fuse board. We explain the options before starting, with all the terms in writing, so you can decide without pressure.

A payment plan for electrical work: when it makes sense
Some jobs cannot wait: an installation with no earthing, cables that overheat or a fuse board that has reached its limit. Others, such as solar panels or an EV charger, pay for themselves over time. Either way the amount may be high to pay in one go, and that is where a payment plan for electrical work lets you do the job when it is needed, without waiting until you have saved the whole sum.
We look at it with you when preparing the quote: amount, number of instalments and total cost, with all the terms in writing before you sign. We do not advertise specific lenders or interest rates on this page, because the conditions depend on each case.
Which jobs are usually financed
- Full rewire of an older flat, which on the market ranges from 3,600 to 6,500 euros for 70 to 100 m². See rewiring old apartments.
- Renovations including the electrics, starting at about 1,700 euros.
- Solar self-consumption panels: a 5 kW installation ranges from 5,500 to 7,000 euros, and with a battery the amount rises. See solar panels and solar batteries.
- EV charging point at a house, with an installation of 800 to 1,600 euros not counting the charger. See home EV charger installation.
- Electrical side of an aerothermal heat pump, 300 to 800 euros as an estimate.
All these figures are guide prices plus 21 % VAT.
How we work
- Fixed quote for the job, exactly as if you were paying in full.
- Study of deferred payment with you: how much you want to defer and over what period suits you.
- Written information on all the terms and the total cost before signing, as required by Law 16/2011 on consumer credit agreements when it is a credit.
- Decision without pressure. If it does not convince you, the quote remains valid for payment in full.
- Execution of the job with its boletín and detailed invoice.
What to check before signing
- The price of the job should be the same with deferred payment as for payment in full.
- The total cost of the financing, adding up all instalments and charges, not just the monthly payment.
- What happens if you want to pay off the outstanding amount early.
- The documents you will need, so you can have them ready.
Asking for this information commits you to nothing and lets you compare it with any other options you have, such as your own loan or paying in phases.
Paying in phases, another option
For some jobs you do not need financing at all: it is enough to split the work. For example, in an older flat in Nervión or Los Remedios you can start with what is urgent, the fuse board with RCDs and the earthing, and leave rewiring for a second phase. In a villa in Mairena del Aljarafe, Tomares or Bormujos you can install the charger now with provision made to connect solar panels later. We suggest it in the quote if it suits your case.
A typical case
A family in Dos Hermanas want to install solar panels and a charger for their new car. We quote the two jobs separately, look at deferred payment for the panels with them and they decide to pay for the charger in full so their IRPF deduction is clear. Before signing they receive all the terms and the total cost in writing, and the work is carried out with its boletín and the documents for the deduction. We explain how that paperwork is handled in paperwork management.
Price
The price of the job does not change because you pay in instalments. Deferred payment terms are studied with each customer and set out in writing before signing. You can see guide prices for each service on the prices page and our other ways of helping you under plans and support.

Frequently asked questions
Can I pay for electrical work in instalments in Spain?
Yes, for jobs of a certain size deferred payment can be considered. We look at it with you when preparing the quote, according to the amount, the type of work and what suits you best, and give you all the terms in writing before you sign anything. If it does not convince you, the quote remains valid for payment in full.
Which jobs are usually financed?
The larger ones: rewiring a whole flat, a renovation including the electrics, a solar self-consumption installation, an EV charging point at a house or in a garage, the electrical side of an aerothermal heat pump or a new fuse board with improvements. For small repairs it is rarely worth it.
What are the terms of the financing?
They depend on each case and are studied with you: amount, number of instalments and total cost. Before signing you receive the full information in writing, as required by Law 16/2011 on consumer credit agreements when the arrangement is a credit. That way you can compare and decide calmly.
Can I finance the charger and still claim the IRPF deduction?
The 15 % deduction for an EV charging point, in force until 31 December 2026, requires among other things that payment is not made in cash. If you are going to defer payment, check your case with your tax adviser to confirm how it affects the deduction. We give you the invoice and the certificate it requires.
Does paying in instalments make the job more expensive?
The price of the job is the same as for payment in full and appears the same in the quote. What may have a cost is the financing itself, depending on the terms in each case. That is why we tell you the total cost before you sign, so you can compare and choose the option that suits you best.
I am buying a property in Seville from abroad. Is paying in phases an option?
Yes, and it is often the simplest one. For an older flat we can start with what is urgent, the fuse board with RCDs and the earthing, and leave the rewiring for a second phase once you have settled in. Each phase has its own quote, boletín and invoice, so you always know what has been done and what remains.
