Structured data cabling in Seville, Spain: a network that does not drop

Wifi has improved a lot, but it still struggles through load-bearing walls, the floors of a villa or an office ceiling with a metal false ceiling. When you need a connection that does not fail, for working from home, streaming TV, running security cameras or a shop’s card terminal, cable is what works. That is why we install structured data cabling in Seville: a tidy network with every socket labelled and everything brought together in one place.

What it includes

• RJ45 network points in the living room, study, bedrooms or workstations, with Category 6 or 6A cable.
• Rack cabinet with patch panel, power strip and space for the router, the switch and the camera recorder.
• Labelling and basic testing of every point, so you know which socket goes to which port on the panel.
• Mesh wifi and access points wired back to the router, to cover every floor of a villa or a whole office.
• Indoor fibre when the router is far from the provider’s entry point.
• Telephone sockets and IP phone systems in offices and apartment buildings.

Who we do it for

• Homes with remote working. A study with two network points and a wired TV in the living room solve most dropped video calls. In flats in Nervión or Los Remedios we use the existing ducts when they have room.
• Villas and townhouses. In Tomares, Mairena del Aljarafe or Bormujos the typical problem is wifi that does not reach the upper floor or the garden. We fix it with access points linked by cable.
• New builds. Recent homes in Sevilla Este or Entrenúcleos usually come with data sockets, but not in every room the buyer needs. We add points using the pre-installed ducts.
• Offices and shops. Workstations, printers, card terminals and cameras with a tidy rack. We coordinate it with the electrical installation of the premises in shops and offices and, if some equipment must never switch off, with a UPS system.

How we work

1. We look at the space with you and mark on a plan where you need network points and where you want the rack.
2. We find the cleanest route: existing ducts, false ceiling, trunking or a new conduit.
3. We give you a fixed price per point and per piece of equipment.
4. We run and connect the cable, mount the rack and label every socket.
5. We test every point and set up the wifi access points.

If you do not want to see a single cable, we combine it with hiding cables for the TV and audio.

Standards

We design and install the cabling to the UNE-EN 50173 (generic cabling systems) and UNE-EN 50174 (cabling installation) standards. In apartment buildings, the shared sections are part of the building telecoms infrastructure (ICT), and we respect its conduits. The rest of our signal and security services are under telecoms and security.
