What smart lighting control is

Smart lighting goes far beyond switching on a bulb from your phone. With smart lighting installation in your home in Seville you can dim each zone, save scenes that change all the light in a room with one touch, set schedules and have the lights respond to your presence. All without losing the basics: the wall switch keeps working for everyone, including visitors and holiday guests who have never seen the app.

What you can do

• Switch the lights on from your phone, at home or away, and check none have been left on.
• Dim each zone: living room spotlights, kitchen LED strip, bedroom lamp.
• Create lighting scenes: dinner, cinema, reading, cleaning or night.

• Simulate presence while you are away, switching lights on and off naturally.
• Change the tone of the light, from warm to neutral, with tunable white fittings.

Lighting scenes: the part people use most

A scene carries out several actions with a single command. Some examples we leave programmed:

• Dinner: living room spotlights at 40 %, table lamp on, sideboard LED strip at minimum.
• Cinema: everything off except the indirect light behind the television.
• Good night: turns off the whole home and leaves a soft guide light in the hallway.
• Leaving home: turns off all the lights with one touch by the door.

Scenes are triggered from a wall keypad, the phone, by voice or by an automation.

How smart lighting installation works

There are two routes, depending on your home:

• Without building work, with wireless home automation: smart switches or modules in the existing boxes, communicating by Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi or Matter. This is the option for finished flats. We explain it in wireless smart home.
• With a wired system: in a new build or full renovation, with a bus such as KNX and scene keypads, as part of a complete smart home installation.

In both cases we check that the fittings are dimmable. With LED, the lamp or driver must support dimming and the dimmer must be compatible; otherwise flicker and buzzing appear. How we work

1. We walk through the home with you and decide which zones to dim, which scenes you want and with which assistant.
2. We check fittings, boxes and the neutral wire, and tell you if any driver or lamp needs changing.
3. We install the switches, modules or keypads and the hub if needed.
4. We programme scenes, schedules and presence and adjust light levels at night, which is when they are used.
5. We show you the app and leave the wall keypads clearly labelled.

Regulations

Lighting control installations comply with ITC-BT-51 on automation systems and ITC-BT-44 on lighting equipment, both part of the Spanish Low Voltage Electrical Regulations.
