Electrician in the Aljarafe, Seville, Spain: Castilleja, Gines, Espartinas and more
We work as an electrician in the Aljarafe north: Castilleja de la Cuesta, Gines, Espartinas, Valencina de la Concepción, Salteras, Santiponce, Olivares, Sanlúcar la Mayor and Umbrete. Each village builds in its own way, and here we explain what we usually find in each one.

Electrician in the Aljarafe north: villages and developments
The Aljarafe north is the plateau west of Seville, a mix of olive groves, traditional villages and villa developments that grew around them from the 1980s onwards. The three largest towns of the area have their own pages: Tomares, Bormujos and Mairena del Aljarafe. Here we cover the other nine villages.
What nearly all of them share is the detached or semi-detached house with a plot, which is why the most requested jobs are a home EV charger for houses and solar panels. But each village has its own character.
Castilleja de la Cuesta
With about 17,196 residents in a very small area, Castilleja is the densest village of the Aljarafe and sits right next to Seville. Its spine is Calle Real, with traditional two-storey houses, plenty of shops and bars, and blocks of flats in the surrounding neighbourhoods. There is hardly any significant new building, so the work is on existing homes: renovating old houses, new fuse boards, the boletín for renting and shops changing activity. Streets are narrow and parking scarce, so we bring materials ready to keep the job short.
Gines
Gines has about 13,516 residents and a lively centre surrounded by townhouse and villa developments. It is one of the few villages on this list with new homes underway: two developments with work starting in summer 2026, with 1 to 3 bedrooms, priced at 2,570 to 2,747 euros per square metre. When they are handed over, light fittings and the charger will be missing as usual. In existing houses we mostly add air conditioning lines and replace fuse boards.
Espartinas
Espartinas, with about 16,548 residents, is almost entirely developments of detached houses with gardens, many with a pool. There are no large new developments: the market is resale villas being renovated. Here people ask for chargers, solar panels, a new pool control panel and, above all, garden and path lighting, about 50 to 120 euros per point as a reference.
Valencina de la Concepción
Valencina has about 8,042 residents and is known for its dolmens, such as La Pastora and Matarrubilla. It combines a small centre with villa developments on large plots, where the fuse board can be far from the garage or pool. That makes a charger slightly more expensive, because the line is longer. If your plot is near the archaeological area, check with the town hall before digging trenches in the garden.
Salteras
Salteras, with about 5,646 residents, is a small village of low houses with developments around it. Typical work here is on traditional homes: inherited houses being renovated, with no earthing and old fuse boards. An inspection before renovating tells you whether a new board is enough or it is better to rewire the old installation.
Santiponce
Santiponce lies next to the Roman ruins of Itálica and the monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, at the northern exit of Seville. It has low houses and blocks of flats of different ages, and bars and restaurants that live off visitors to the archaeological site. For them we handle kitchen wiring, emergency lighting and maintenance; for homes, fuse boards, earthing and the electrical certificate (boletín) for new connections and changes of contract holder.
Olivares
Olivares, crowned by the palace of the Count-Duke, sits on the northern edge of the Aljarafe, where the plateau opens onto olive estates. Besides village houses, we work on farm buildings and country houses with well pumps, irrigation panels and installations that never had a boletín and need legalising.
Sanlúcar la Mayor
Sanlúcar la Mayor has about 14,161 residents, a historic centre with old houses and, within its boundaries, the well-known solar power plants that show what the Aljarafe sun can do. In the centre we rewire traditional houses; on the developments and outlying plots we install solar panels, chargers and pumps.
Umbrete
Umbrete, with about 9,371 residents, has doubled its population over recent decades thanks to new housing. That means many townhouses from the 2000s onwards: installations in good condition but with no provision for an electric car or air conditioning in every room. Here the work is about adding capacity: charger, solar panels and new circuits.
Emergencies across the Aljarafe
For a power cut or an RCD (GFCI) that will not reset in any of these villages, our 24-hour emergency electrician is available at any hour, with an estimated arrival time when you call. For other areas, see all our areas.

Frequently asked questions
Do you cover every village in the Aljarafe north?
Yes: Castilleja de la Cuesta, Gines, Espartinas, Valencina de la Concepción, Salteras, Santiponce, Olivares, Sanlúcar la Mayor and Umbrete, including their housing developments and outlying houses. For emergencies we give you an estimated arrival time when you call, and for planned jobs we offer you a specific day.
How much does an EV charger cost at a villa in the Aljarafe?
At a villa or townhouse with its own garage, the guide range is 800 to 1,600 euros plus VAT for a single-phase charger, with a dedicated circuit, protection and certificate. If the house has solar panels, the charger can be set to use the surplus. Until 31 December 2026 there is a 15% income tax deduction for chargers in your own home.
I live on a development in Espartinas and the power trips when it rains. What could it be?
Most likely an earth leakage outdoors: garden boxes full of water, lights with damaged seals or the pool pump. We find the circuit, repair the part and, if it makes sense, put the outdoor circuits on their own RCD so they do not cut the power to the rest of the house.
My old village house has never had a boletín. Can it be legalised?
Usually yes. We inspect the installation, carry out whatever upgrading is needed to meet the regulations, such as earthing, RCDs or separate circuits, and then issue the certificate and file it with the Junta de Andalucía. With it you can connect the supply, raise the power or put the contract in your name.
